About Me
My name is Keoni Tabor. I'm currently working towards an associates in music at De Anza College as well as fulfilling the requirements to transfer to the music education program at San Jose State University.

I began piano in 2015 in the fifth grade alongside a handful of other students in a program led by one of the teachers at my middle school. I continued in the program until its end in 2017, and switched to taking lessons privately with that teacher for another year or so. Though I eventually stopped taking private lessons, I continued learning on my own, studying music theory and continuing to practice as a hobby.
In high school, I took two years of piano in my freshman and junior year, and one year of Music for the International Baccalaureate Program in my senior year. This allowed me to further develop my music theory knowledge, practice composition, and dedicate more time and energy overall to Piano. During my high school years, I also expanded my horizons, playing trombone in the band at school, and piano in the band at church. As a college student, I still play at church as well as in the orchestra and jazz band at De Anza.
